Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken tenders (or chicken breasts sliced into strips)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko works best for crunch)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk to prepare the egg wash.
  5. Dip each chicken tender into the egg wash, letting excess drip off, then press it into the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly on all sides.
  6. Place each breaded tender onto the baking sheet and lightly brush or drizzle with melted butter for extra crispiness.
  7. Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden, crispy, and cooked through.
  8. For extra crunch, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely to prevent burning.
