- 1 ½ lbs chicken tenders (or chicken breasts sliced into strips)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko works best for crunch)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp melted butter (or olive oil)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk to prepare the egg wash.
- Dip each chicken tender into the egg wash, letting excess drip off, then press it into the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly on all sides.
- Place each breaded tender onto the baking sheet and lightly brush or drizzle with melted butter for extra crispiness.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden, crispy, and cooked through.
- For extra crunch, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end, watching closely to prevent burning.
Notes
- Serve hot with honey mustard, BBQ sauce, ranch, garlic mayo, or ketchup.
- A side of fries or salad pairs well with the tenders.
- Use Panko breadcrumbs for the best texture.
- Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet to ensure crispiness.
- Dry the chicken well before breading.
- Add crushed cornflakes to the breading for ultra crunch.
