For the Sauce:
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with ¼ cup water (for thickening)
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the Beef
- In a bowl, mix thinly sliced beef, soy sauce, and cornstarch.
- Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.
Step 2: Prepare the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, black pepper, and cornstarch slurry.
- Set aside.
Step 3: Stir-Fry the Beef
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Remove beef from the pan and set aside.
Step 4: Cook the Vegetables
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil.
- Stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, mushrooms, and bok choy. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
- Add bean sprouts and cook for 1 more minute.
Step 5: Combine & Serve
- Return the cooked beef to the pan.
- Pour in the prepared sauce, stirring constantly until it thickens and coats everything.
- Cook for 1-2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.

- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha.
