Ingredients

  • 5 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large apple, diced (Honeycrisp or Gala work well)
  • ¾ cup dried cranberries
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans (toasted for extra flavor)
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine green cabbage, red cabbage, diced apple, dried cranberries, chopped pecans, and green onions.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld. Stir once more before serving.
