- 5 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
- 1 large apple, diced (Honeycrisp or Gala work well)
- ¾ cup dried cranberries
- ¾ cup chopped pecans (toasted for extra flavor)
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine green cabbage, red cabbage, diced apple, dried cranberries, chopped pecans, and green onions.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld. Stir once more before serving.
