Description
A delicious and creamy shrimp dish with spinach, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups fresh baby spinach
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to release flavor.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and simmer for 2–3 minutes until fully cooked and coated in sauce.
- Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve over fettuccine or linguine for a complete meal.
- Can be paired with rice or cauliflower rice.
- Great alongside roasted vegetables or with warm crusty bread.
