Description
Deliciously crispy cottage cheese chips, perfect for snacking!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
- Optional: garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, Italian seasoning, or chili flakes (for flavoring)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking. I’ve found that silicone mats work best for even browning and easy removal.
- Use a spoon to drop small heaps of cottage cheese onto the baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart. Each chip should be about 1 to 1 tablespoons in size. Flatten them slightly with the back of the spoon to help them bake evenly.
- This is where you can get creative. I love adding a sprinkle of garlic powder and paprika for a smoky, savory flavor. But you can try ranch seasoning, everything bagel spice, or even a dash of chili flakes for some heat.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 25–35 minutes, depending on your oven. You’ll know they’re ready when the edges are deeply golden and the centers look firm, not bubbly.
- Let the chips cool completely on the baking sheet. They’ll continue to crisp as they cool, so don’t rush this part. Patience pays off here—you’ll be rewarded with perfectly crunchy chips.
Notes
- For added flavor, experiment with different seasonings.
- Ensure the chips are well spaced to allow even cooking.
