A rich and creamy garlic parmesan sauce perfect for pasta, chicken, or vegetables.
Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
- Sprinkle in the flour and whisk constantly for 1 minute to form a smooth roux.
- Slowly pour in the chicken broth, whisking to combine, followed by the heavy cream. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until it starts to bubble and thicken.
- Reduce heat to low. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in parsley if using. Serve immediately over pasta, chicken, or vegetables.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, increase the flour slightly.
- Great for drizzling over roasted vegetables.
