Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, yogurt, oil, eggs, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
