Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, yogurt, oil, eggs, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar or glaze if desired before serving.
