- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix together the Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
- In another dish, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and then coat with the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream to the skillet and simmer until thickened, stirring frequently.
- Serve the chicken topped with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in garlic and herbs before breading.
- Serve with a side of vegetables or pasta for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
