Instructions
1. Make the Fruit Syrup
- In a saucepan, combine fruit, sugar, and water.
- Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring until fruit softens.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, then strain to remove any pulp.
- Stir in lime juice and let cool completely.
2. Prepare the Shaved Ice
- Crush ice using a blender, food processor, or shaved ice machine until fine and fluffy.
3. Assemble the Raspado
- Fill cups or bowls with shaved ice.
- Drizzle fruit syrup generously over the ice.
- Add toppings like condensed milk, chamoy, or Tajín.
