- 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup queso cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak pieces and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- In a separate pot, bring beef broth to a boil and add rice. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked.
- Once the rice is cooked, stir in the queso cheese until melted and creamy.
- Combine the cooked steak with the queso rice and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add jalapeños to the steak while cooking.
